Teen Halloween costumes are already selling out 🎃

Busy Mommy Media

I had one of those oh, Halloween is actually getting close moments this week.

My daughter is putting together a steampunk costume this year, so she’s been gathering all the little accessories she wants to go with it. We started looking for a few of the pieces she still needs and realized things are already starting to sell out.

Apparently we are not the only people who thought we had plenty of time. 😂

So if your teen still needs a Halloween costume, I’d start looking now, especially if they want something a little different.

I just put together a new video with some of my favorite unique Halloween costumes for teen boys. There are some genuinely fun ones in here, including a claw machine, vending machine, Victorian ghost, Anubis, a man turned to stone, and a few that are just ridiculous enough to work.

And if none of those pass the extremely rigorous teenager approval process, I have a lot more options in the full blog post, including classic costumes, funny costumes, gaming costumes and more.

The biggest thing I’d recommend at this point is don’t wait until the week before Halloween. Sizes and some of the more unusual costumes are already disappearing, and nobody needs to be paying rush shipping on October 29 because a teenager finally decided what they want to be.

Ask me how I know. 😅

Happy Halloween shopping!

Busy Mommy Media There are few things more humbling than asking your teenager for costume input and getting shut down every time. You pitch an idea. Veto. You pitch another one. Also veto. Eventually you stop pitching and just wait to see what the group chat decides. That's basically how this year's costume roundup happened. In my newest post, I'm rounding up group costume ideas for teens that don't require five kids to match, because that fight is not one you're winning. The trick that...
